Los Angeles, CA. -- CMS Communications, Intl., a leading Business Communications/Production Agency, has announced that Patrick Grady has been named General Manager and Vice President of Business Development for the agency's East Coast Office, located in Orlando, Florida. Grady will head up CMS' business development efforts in the eastern part of the United States.
“We are extremely excited to have Patrick on board,” commented Diana Zimmerman, President of CMS Communications. “ Individuals with Patrick's remarkable skill-sets don't come along very often in our industry. We feel that he will be a great asset to CMS' expansionary efforts. Since we have a number of East Coast clients, opening an office in Orlando will provide a significant advantage in our ability to expand and service a broader range of clientele.”
Before joining CMS, Grady spent fifteen years with RadioShack Corporation in retail operations, as the National Director of Training, Director of Executive and Internal Communications, and as the company's Senior Director of Events and Recognition. He not only brings a wealth of corporate skills and knowledge to CMS, but also is immensely creative and experienced in developing business strategy, incentive development and execution, as well as overall event production.
Highly creative, yet immensely detail oriented, Grady began his career in marketing communications and event management in 1989. He was responsible for writing and producing radio advertising, and coordinating live remote broadcasts for commercial radio stations and private agencies in the southeast. He was an on-air personality at radio stations throughout Florida, writing and delivering news, information, and entertainment content. Later, as Director of Sales, Training, and Programming for TPN, a Dallas-based international television network, he logged hundreds of hours on stage and on camera and as producer, executive producer, and presentation coach.
In 1995, Grady was handpicked by RadioShack Executive Chairman, Len Roberts to lead the RadioShack training and communications team where he was responsible for developing, writing, producing and executive coaching for live events and video.
“Patrick will not only be a terrific asset to CMS, but to CMS' clients as well, especially those on the East coast,” Sal Barilla, CMS' Executive Vice President, remarked. “Patrick's strong background in production, combined with his in-depth strategic, creative, and management skills are the perfect complement to CMS. We had the privilege of producing several outstanding events for RadioShack under his direction, and we couldn't be happier that he is now part of the CMS team.”
